Are you at a crossroads in your career?
Maybe you’re not sure your in the right job.
Do feel that you’re stuck and can’t see how your career will progress.
Perhaps you want to do something different but don’t know what sort of jobs to look for.
Our Career Focussed Coaching is specifically designed to help you with your career progression. This 90 minute coaching session begins with an assessment using the Language And Behaviour Profile (LAB Profile) which helps to identify your uniqueness.
Through a series of questions it provides insights into your unconscious motivational patterns, how you process information and make decisions in any specific context (work or other). It will help you to understand yourself and to notice patterns in others, so you can communicate with them better. Unlike psychometric tests, the LAB Profile is a conversational process and can be carried out face to face or on the telephone.
In your work the LAB Profile you will identify:
- What is important to you.
- What inspires and stimulates you.
- How you are motivated (‘carrot’ or ‘stick’).
- Why you are able to sustain some projects and lose interest in others.
- How you know you’ve done a good job / made the right choice.
- How you process information.
- How you make decisions.
Once the LAB Profile has been completed, we will work with you on a one to one basis in a 60 minute career coaching session using the information to help you:
- Have a clear picture of how to create your success.
- Identify how you are motivated and how to maintain that motivation at work or when seeking work.
- Seek out jobs which are in alignment with your motivation and working traits.
- Enhance your communication skills.
- Build better relationships with others.

Background of the LAB Profile
The LAB Profile was created by Rodger Bailey based on the meta programs in NLP (neuro linguistic programming). In 1957 Noam chomsky’s PhD thesis, ‘Transformational Grammer’ stated that we use the filters of deletion, distortion and generalization to make sense of our world. Leslie Cameron-Bandler took this work further by developing the way we use deletion, distortion and generalization and she developed the NLP meta programs.
The LAB Profile has been further developed by Shelle Rose Charvet, who is recognized globally as an expert in communication and influencing. Her book ‘Words That Change Minds – Mastering the Language of Influence’ is based on the LAB Profile.
